Both versions incorporate the one-button programming technology that allows reminders to be programmed using just one button at the face of the device. Both versions emit both audible and visual reminders. Both ALRT Pet Reminder versions can be easily deprogrammed to turn off the reminder alarms as necessary. ALRT Pet Reminders come with magnetized backing that allows users to set the devices in high visibility locations like refrigerator doors, kitchen cabinets or pet carriers.

The ALRT Pet Reminder operates on a single user replaceable CR2032 battery. Battery life is estimated to be two years. Both ALRT Pet Reminder versions are covered by a two years warranty.
