The Constant Health Companion is modified to connect to a custom port at the nebulizer compressor switch. The port is very small and this system can be adapted to all types of nebulizers at minimal cost.

Home Care Dealer or Medical Center Registering a Patient for the Nebulizer Monitoring and Intervention Service:

• The Constant Health Companion can be used by patients who may not have the need for the monitoring and intervention service
• If the patient has need for the service (whether long-term, or for an initial 3 month period): the patient's designated caregiver registers the patient and adds up to two additional parties to be receivers of the patient's compliance data
• The patient is registered for either weekly or monthly compliance monitoring. Subscriptions are for 3 month, 6 month or one year periods.

Using the Nebulizer Compliance Product:

• The Constant Health Companion nebulizer compliance product reminds the patient to take medication/use the nebulizer - audio beeping reminder as well as the precise actions to take displayed on the LCD screen. The last reminder alert of the day reminds the patient to press a button on the interactive modem that uploads the compliance data.
• Parameters to determine noncompliance are set when the patient is registered and if a person is noncompliant the designated receivers of data will receive a email alert about the noncompliance. The receivers of the data can also drill down and view details of the patient's compliance for the past day, past week, month, etc.
• A home care dealer with several patients registered with the service, receive a single daily compliance report covering all patients registered to their office, not a report for each person independently.
